Larsceramica is the studio of Larissa Yanofsky, a ceramicist based in Brooklyn, NY. I build objects by hand — sculptures, vessels, and functional pieces that bring artistry to everyday life. 

 

My work is drawn to the strange and the tender: animals caught mid-gesture, architectural forms that feel almost alive, surfaces that hold the mark of being made. I'm interested in objects that evoke the natural world — the strange formations of the earth, the way plants grow upward and outward, the beauty of looking closely.

 

I also make custom pet portrait ceramics — bowls, mugs, and sculptural pieces painted with a likeness of your animal. They make meaningful gifts, and I love the collaboration of capturing a specific creature in clay. The studio is open to commissions — reach out anytime.
